Mario Minardi is an Indonesian footwear house making men's and women's shoes, leather goods and accessories. Everything is made in our own workshop, and everything welted can be returned to us for resoling.

Beyond ready-to-wear, we offer three services:

• Made-to-order — an existing model in the leather and colour you choose
• Size custom order — an existing model adjusted to your measurements
• Bespoke — a last cut for your foot, and a shoe built on it

Patina is colour applied by hand to an undyed crust leather, built in layers so the finish has depth rather than a single flat tone. No two pairs come out identical, which is the point of it.

Allow three to four weeks for a hand-painted pair.

It begins with a fitting: your feet are measured and traced, and a last is cut to those measurements. A trial shoe is made and adjusted before the final pair is built.

Bespoke takes twelve to sixteen weeks and starts with an appointment at one of our boutiques.

We work with alligator, crocodile, ostrich and lizard, all from farms with CITES documentation. Availability depends on the hide, so exotic orders are quoted individually.

No. Belts, wallets, briefcases and small leather goods can all be made to order in the same leathers and finishes as the footwear.

Made-to-order changes the materials — leather, colour, sole, lining — on a standard last in a standard size.

Size custom order changes the fit. We adjust an existing last to your measurements, without cutting a new one as bespoke does.

Yes. Any model available for made-to-order can be finished in any of our patina colours, or matched to a reference you bring us.
